Vegan Banana and Spinach Smoothie

  1. Pour the oat milk into the blender. We like to use a smoothie blender with smoothie specific bottles as shown in the photo simply because it saves on washing up! The one featured in this photo is a second hand Breville that we’ve had for 5 plus years and still works well.
  2. Add chopped banana and spinach. We highly recommend freezing chunks of banana for use in smoothies. This way you can enjoy deliciously cold smoothies without the need for ice.
  3. Add the cinnamon and blend for at least 1 minute or until there are no chunks left and the blender passes through the contents without resistance.
  4. Throw on the smoothie bottle lid and slurp!
Recipe Notes

If you don’t own a smoothie blender with bottles, instead pour the smoothie into a tall glass, sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top and only add a straw if it’s a cool reusable one like this metal straw or this bamboo straw – please avoid single use straws.
